Job Description: The Pharmacy Incharge, often referred to as the Pharmacy Manager, is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a pharmacy. This includes the management of staff, overseeing the dispensing of medications accurately and legally, and maintaining a safe and effective medication storage and management system. The role also involves providing customer service and ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities: Medication Management: Oversee the dispensing of medications to patients according to the prescriptions provided by authorized healthcare providers.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the pharmacy complies with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding pharmaceutical practices.
Inventory Control: Manage the inventory of drugs and other medical supplies to ensure availability and control costs.
Staff Supervision: Manage pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, ensuring they are well-trained and perform their duties effectively.
Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols to minimize errors and enhance patient safety.
Customer Service: Address patient inquiries and provide detailed information and advice on medications, including proper usage, side effects, and interactions.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all prescriptions filled, drugs received, and inventory conducted.

Education Qualifications: Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. from an accredited pharmacy school.
Licensing: Must hold a valid pharmacist license in the state or country of practice.
Experience: Several years of experience in pharmacy operations, with previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
