Job Description

1. Issue appropriate prescriptions and administer medicine
2. Inform physicians about any problems or discrepancies that might arise
3. Acquire and review patient histories identifying abnormal conditions
4. Monitor patients’ progress and keep records of treatments, surgeries or other medical events
5. Attend to emergencies
6. Provide help during surgeries
7. Prepare patients for examinations and conduct routine procedures (measure blood pressure and temperature, administer injections etc)
8. Provide therapeutic treatments (disinfecting wounds, stitching etc.)
9. Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion for the patients
