Job Description: Receptionists or Front Desk Staff are the first point of contact for patients and visitors in a healthcare facility. They play a crucial role in creating a welcoming environment and providing assistance with appointments, inquiries, and navigation within the facility. This position requires strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities: Greet patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner, providing an excellent first impression of the healthcare facility.
Answer phone calls, responding to inquiries, or directing calls to the appropriate department or individual.
Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring efficient and accurate communication between patients and healthcare providers.
Manage patient registration process, including the collection and verification of personal and insurance information.
Provide information about the facility’s services, directions to various departments, and general assistance to ensure a smooth visit for patients and guests.
Handle administrative tasks such as filing, copying, and processing mail to support healthcare operations.
Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment.
Collaborate with healthcare staff to manage patient flow and reduce wait times, enhancing patient satisfaction.
Utilize healthcare software to enter and update patient information, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Handle sensitive information with discretion and in compliance with privacy laws and regulations.

Education Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; further certification in office administration or a related field is a plus.
Proven experience as a Receptionist, Front Desk Representative, or similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting positively with a diverse range of individuals.
Proficiency in computer systems, including Microsoft Office and healthcare management software.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of basic medical terminology and healthcare operations is beneficial.
Commitment to providing high-quality customer service and maintaining patient confidentiality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and responsibility.
