Job Description: Nursing staff, encompassing Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Nurse Assistants (NAs), are essential members of the healthcare team responsible for providing direct patient care and support. They work under the guidance of physicians and in close collaboration with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care, ranging from basic health monitoring to administering medications and aiding with patient recovery and education.
Key Responsibilities: Patient Care: Providing comprehensive care that includes administering medications, wound care, and other necessary treatments as prescribed by a physician.
Monitoring: Keeping a close eye on patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and overall health status, and responding to changes in their condition.
Patient Support: Assisting patients with daily activities they might struggle with due to illness or injury, such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
Education: Educating patients and their families on managing illnesses or injuries at home, including diet, exercise, and medication management.
Documentation: Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records, documenting all care, observations, and treatment plans.
