Job Description: The Surgical Services Manager is a key administrative and clinical leadership role responsible for managing the operations of the surgical services department. This position ensures efficient, effective, and high-quality surgical care delivery while managing resources, staff, and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of surgical services, including scheduling, staffing, equipment management, and patient flow.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality surgical care.
Manage the surgical services budget, including procurement of supplies and equipment, and monitor financial performance.
Lead, hire, and develop surgical services staff, promoting a positive work environment and professional growth.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and safety protocols.
Analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance service quality and efficiency.

Education Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Valid nursing license or relevant healthcare certification.
Experience in surgical services or operating room management.
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
Knowledge of healthcare regulations, surgical procedures, and best practices in perioperative care.

Ensures the surgical services department adheres to national quality standards and regulatory requirements, promoting patient safety and care excellence.
Participates in interdisciplinary committees and teams to address broader hospital challenges and initiatives, contributing to the overall improvement of healthcare delivery.
Serves as a mentor and resource for surgical services staff, promoting continuous education and adherence to best practices in perioperative care.
