Job Description: The Security Staff is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the premises, employees, patients, visitors, and assets within the organization. This role involves monitoring the facility, preventing security breaches, enforcing safety protocols, and responding to emergencies. Security Staff play a crucial role in creating a safe environment by ensuring that access control procedures are followed, conducting routine patrols, and assisting with the enforcement of health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities: Monitoring and Surveillance: Continuously monitor the premises using security cameras and other surveillance equipment to detect any suspicious activity or security breaches. Report any incidents or irregularities to supervisors immediately.
Access Control: Enforce access control protocols, including checking identification, verifying credentials, and ensuring that only authorized personnel enter restricted areas. Control entry and exit points to the facility.
Patrols: Conduct regular foot or vehicle patrols of the premises, both inside and outside the building, to ensure that all areas are secure. Monitor entrances, parking lots, and other key locations for any potential safety concerns.
Emergency Response: Respond to emergencies such as fires, accidents, or medical incidents. Assist in evacuations, manage emergency situations, and cooperate with emergency services (e.g., police, fire departments, paramedics) when needed.
Incident Reporting: Document any incidents, accidents, or security breaches in a clear and accurate manner. Maintain daily logs and write detailed reports on security activities, accidents, or any irregularities.
Visitor Assistance: Greet and assist visitors by providing directions and information, ensuring that they follow security procedures. Monitor visitor access and ensure that all visitors are properly logged and escorted as necessary.
Safety Enforcement: Enforce organizational safety policies, including the prohibition of unauthorized weapons, illegal substances, and unsafe behavior. Assist in maintaining a safe environment by identifying and addressing potential hazards.
Crowd Control: Manage crowd control during large events or high-traffic times, ensuring that people are orderly and that any disturbances or emergencies are handled quickly and efficiently.
Conflict Resolution: Handle conflicts or disputes with professionalism and in accordance with company protocols. De-escalate tense situations and ensure that all individuals involved remain safe.
Collaboration with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments (e.g., administration, facilities management) to ensure comprehensive safety measures are in place. Report any concerns about building maintenance, hazards, or policies that may impact security.

Education Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Basic security training (e.g., first aid, CPR, conflict resolution) may be required.
Familiarity with surveillance systems, access control systems, and emergency response protocols.
Valid security license or certification (if required by local laws) is a plus.
