Job Description: The Orthodontist specializes in diagnosing, preventing, and treating dental and facial irregularities, including malocclusions (misaligned bites) and improper alignment of teeth and jaws. This role involves using braces, aligners, and other appliances to improve dental aesthetics and function while adhering to Indian Dental Council standards.

Key Responsibilities: Patient Assessment: Examine patients’ dental and facial structure to diagnose malocclusions and alignment issues.
Treatment Planning: Develop customized treatment plans based on patient needs, using braces, aligners, or other orthodontic appliances.
Appliance Installation: Fit and adjust braces, aligners, and other orthodontic devices.
Monitoring Progress: Conduct regular follow-up appointments to assess treatment progress and make necessary adjustments.
Patient Education: Educate patients about oral hygiene practices during orthodontic treatment.
Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate records of patient treatment plans, progress, and outcomes.
Collaboration: Work closely with general dentists and other specialists for comprehensive patient care.
Technology Utilization: Use advanced imaging and modeling tools to enhance diagnostic and treatment accuracy.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to NABH and Dental Council of India regulations for orthodontic care.
Continuing Education: Stay updated on the latest advancements in orthodontics to provide cutting-edge care.

Education Qualifications: Minimum Requirements: Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from a recognized institution approved by the Dental Council of India.
Preferred: Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics.
Licensure: Valid registration with the State Dental Council in India.
