Job Description: The Assistant HR Manager plays a critical support role in the human resources department, helping to oversee and manage various HR functions such as recruitment, staff development, performance management, and employee relations. This position acts as a bridge between HR management and the workforce, ensuring HR policies and procedures are implemented effectively while contributing to the development of a positive organizational culture. The Assistant HR Manager works closely with the HR Manager to develop HR strategies that support the organization’s goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities: Recruitment and Selection: Assist in the recruitment process, from job posting and interviewing to hiring and onboarding new staff, ensuring the organization attracts and retains top talent.
Training and Development: Support the implementation of training programs that aim to enhance employee skills and knowledge, aligning with the company’s strategic goals.
Performance Management: Aid in the execution of performance evaluation processes, helping managers and employees set performance objectives, and providing support for performance improvement plans.
Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, facilitating communication between staff and management, and working to resolve conflicts and improve workplace relations.
HR Policy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring they are compliant with legal standards and reflect best practices.
Compensation and Benefits: Help manage the compensation and benefits program, ensuring it is competitive, equitable, and aligns with the organization’s budget and strategic objectives.
Compliance: Ensure all HR activities comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by staying informed on legislation affecting human resources.

Education Qualifications: Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or specific HR certifications (such as SHRM-CP or PHR) is highly advantageous.
Experience: Several years of experience in human resources, with a proven track record of increasing responsibility and knowledge in various HR functions.
Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, proficiency in HR software, understanding of labor laws and HR best practices, and effective problem-solving abilities.
