Job Description: A Junior Consultant or Associate Consultant Neurosurgeon is a specialized medical professional in the early stages of their consultancy career, focused on the surgical treatment of disorders affecting the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves. Key Responsibilities: Assist in Surgical Procedures: Actively assist senior neurosurgeons during complex surgical procedures, gaining expertise in advanced neurosurgical techniques.
Patient Evaluation: Participate in the preoperative evaluation of patients, including reviewing medical history and planning appropriate surgical interventions.
Postoperative Care: Monitor patients’ recovery post-surgery, addressing complications and coordinating with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
Medical Diagnostics: Utilize advanced imaging techniques and neurological tests to diagnose conditions and track treatment progress.
Research Participation: Engage in clinical research projects to explore innovative treatments and improve existing neurosurgical procedures.
Educational Commitments: Contribute to the training of medical students and residents by providing guidance and sharing knowledge in clinical settings.
Emergency Duties: Respond to neurosurgical emergencies, providing immediate care and surgical intervention as required under the supervision of senior consultants.

Education Qualifications: Medical degree with a specialization in neurosurgery.
Completion of a residency in neurosurgery.
Certification or eligibility for board certification in neurosurgery.
Experience as a resident or fellow in neurosurgery with exposure to a variety of neurosurgical procedures.
Valid and active medical license.
