Job Description: As a Registrar in Radiology, you play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the operations within the radiology department of a healthcare facility. This position involves supervising and coordinating diagnostic imaging services, ensuring the efficient delivery of high-quality patient care, and supporting the clinical and administrative functions of the department.
Key Responsibilities: Clinical Oversight: Supervise and coordinate radiology services, including diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds.
Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to maintain high standards of imaging accuracy, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
Patient Management: Manage and prioritize patient scheduling, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of radiology services.
Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to radiology staff, including radiographers, technicians, and junior residents.
Collaboration: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care and effective communication of imaging findings.
Education Qualifications: Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with specialization in Radiology.
Registration or eligibility for registration with the local medical council.
Residency training and board certification in Radiology.
Proven experience (X years) in clinical practice and management within a radiology department.
Strong leadership skills and ability to inspire and motivate a team.
