Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering, or a related field. A master’s degree or Ph.D. may be required for more advanced positions.
Experience: Relevant experience in a clinical or industrial setting working with medical devices and systems. Internships or cooperative engineering programs can be advantageous.
Skills: Strong technical skills, including proficiency in CAD software, data analysis, and a solid foundation in biology and engineering principles.
Certifications: Certification as a Clinical Engineer (CCE) or similar can be beneficial.
