Job Description
- The Senior Dietitian plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing nutritional care for senior patients or residents.

- This role involves collaboration with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes through nutrition.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments of senior individuals.
- Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans.
- Monitor and evaluate nutritional status and dietary intake.
- Provide nutrition education and counseling to seniors and their families.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate care and address nutritional concerns.
- Stay updated with current research and guidelines in senior nutrition.
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to care planning.
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics.
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification.
- State licensure or registration where applicable.
- Proven experience in clinical nutrition, preferably in geriatrics or senior care.
- Strong knowledge of nutrition science, dietary guidelines, and medical nutrition therapy.
