Job Description: An Accounts Executive serves as a key member of a company’s finance team, playing a critical role in managing and overseeing the financial activities of the organization. This position involves handling day-to-day accounting tasks, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting laws and standards. The Accounts Executive works closely with other finance team members to ensure accurate financial reporting and effective financial management within the company.
Key Responsibilities: “Financial Documentation and Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Accounts Receivable and Payable: Manage and process invoices, payments, and receipts, ensuring timely settlements.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, analyzing financial data to support business planning.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting principles and adherence to legal financial practices, including tax filings.
Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement in financial performance.
Reconciliation: Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.
Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring sufficient funds are available to meet operational needs.
Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations.”
Education Qualifications: “Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Professional Certification: CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) certification is preferred.
Experience: Proven experience in accounting or a similar role, demonstrating a deep understanding of accounting principles and financial management.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP), MS Office, especially Excel, and understanding of ERP systems.
Legal Compliance: Knowledge of accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP, and tax laws.”
