Job Description: The Assistant OPD (Outpatient Department) Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the overall management and operation of the OPD within a healthcare facility. This position involves coordinating patient care services, managing staff, and ensuring operational efficiency to deliver effective outpatient services.

Key Responsibilities: Operational Support: Assist the OPD Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the outpatient department, ensuring that patient care is timely, efficient, and compliant with all regulations.
Staff Supervision: Help manage the recruitment, training, and supervision of OPD staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations.
Patient Flow Management: Optimize patient flow through the department to minimize wait times and enhance patient satisfaction.
Quality Control: Monitor and ensure the quality of patient care, implementing quality improvement initiatives and compliance with health care standards.
Reporting: Assist in compiling reports on department performance, including patient volume, service quality, and operational efficiency.
Emergency Response: Support the department during emergency situations by implementing protocols and ensuring patient and staff safety.
Resource Management: Help manage department resources, ensuring adequate staffing, equipment, and supplies to meet patient needs.

Education Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a related field; Master’s degree is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in healthcare management or administration, particularly in an outpatient setting.
Certifications: Certifications in healthcare management, such as Certified Medical Manager (CMM) or Certified Healthcare Administrator (CHA), are beneficial.
