About the Role
Cardiac Catheterization Lab Technicians are integral to the cardiology team, providing critical support that enables the diagnosis and treatment of heart and vascular diseases. They work primarily in hospitals and specialized cardiac centers, where they contribute to life-saving procedures and the overall management of cardiovascular health. Their role directly impacts patient care, from preparation through recovery, ensuring that procedures are conducted safely and effectively. By maintaining and operating specialized equipment, these technicians enable cardiologists to perform minimally invasive surgeries that significantly improve patient outcomes. Their work is essential in the rapidly evolving field of cardiovascular care, where they help to advance treatment options and enhance the quality of life for patients with heart disease.

Data Recording and Management Document procedural details, patient responses, and outcomes, maintaining accurate and comprehensive patient records.
Quality Control and Sterilization Ensure all cath lab equipment is sterilized and adhere to strict infection control and quality assurance protocols.
