Job Description: The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) in Home Care is a senior executive responsible for providing strategic medical leadership and oversight of clinical operations within the home care setting. The CMO plays a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care while aligning clinical practices with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Clinical Leadership:
Develop and implement clinical policies, protocols, and standards of care.
Provide guidance and direction to healthcare providers to ensure best practices and quality outcomes.
Lead clinical quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.
Strategic Planning:
Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute strategic plans for the home care organization.
Identify opportunities for growth, service expansion, and partnerships within the healthcare ecosystem.
Evaluate and recommend new programs, technologies, and healthcare delivery models.
Provider Engagement:
Foster a culture of clinical excellence, collaboration, and professional development among healthcare providers.
Recruit, onboard, and retain qualified clinical staff, including physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals.
Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and support professional growth and training.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, accreditation requirements, and healthcare laws.
Oversee risk management, patient privacy, and ethical standards in clinical practice.

Education Qualifications: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution; board certification in a relevant specialty required.
Proven experience in clinical leadership, preferably in home care, hospice, or community health settings.
