The Deputy Medical Superintendent is responsible for assisting the Medical Superintendent in the overall management and oversight of clinical and administrative operations within the hospital or healthcare facility.
This includes implementing policies, managing staff, coordinating medical services, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and maintaining high standards of patient care.
The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, leadership skills, and experience in healthcare management.

Clinical Leadership: Provide clinical leadership and oversight to ensure the delivery of high-quality medical services, aligning with the facility's standards and objectives.
Operational Management: Assist in the management of hospital operations, including the development of operational policies and procedures, to improve efficiency and patient care delivery.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the hospital complies with all healthcare regulations, standards, and practices, and remains prepared for audits and inspections.
Staff Management: Assist in the recruitment, training, and supervision of medical and administrative staff, promoting a collaborative and efficient workplace environment.
Quality Improvement: Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care, safety, and satisfaction.
Patient Care Coordination: Oversee the coordination of patient care services across various departments, ensuring seamless service delivery and patient satisfaction.
Financial Oversight: Contribute to budgeting, financial monitoring, and resource allocation to ensure the fiscal health of the healthcare facility.
Emergency Management: Participate in planning and response strategies for emergencies or disasters, ensuring patient and staff safety.

A medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with a valid medical license.
Postgraduate qualification in Hospital Administration or a related field is highly desirable.
A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, with at least 2-3 years in a management or administrative role within a healthcare setting.
Familiarity with healthcare laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
