Job Description: The EHS Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring environment, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards in the pharmaceutical industry. This role involves identifying risks, promoting a safety culture, and ensuring the organization adheres to environmental, health, and safety standards to protect employees, facilities, and the environment.

Key Responsibilities: EHS Program Development: Design and implement comprehensive EHS policies and procedures to comply with legal and industry standards.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, including local and international standards such as OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001.
Risk Assessment: Identify and assess potential hazards and implement risk mitigation strategies.
Incident Management: Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and develop corrective and preventive actions.
Training and Awareness: Conduct training sessions to promote EHS awareness and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Audits and Inspections: Plan and conduct regular internal and external audits to monitor compliance with EHS standards.
Waste Management: Oversee waste management practices, including hazardous waste disposal, to ensure environmental compliance.
Emergency Preparedness: Develop and maintain emergency response plans, including drills and training for employees.
Reporting: Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for management and regulatory authorities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with operations, production, and quality teams to integrate EHS practices into all aspects of the organization.

Education Qualifications: Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred: Master’s degree in EHS Management, Industrial Safety, or Environmental Engineering.
Certifications: NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA certification, or equivalent is highly desirable.
Experience: Proven experience in EHS management, preferably in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry.
