About the Role: EMTs are essential components of the pre-hospital emergency care system, providing the first line of medical response for those in immediate need. They ensure that patients receive timely and appropriate care before reaching a hospital, significantly impacting outcomes in acute and life-threatening situations. By offering basic life support and stabilization, EMTs help to bridge the gap between the emergency scene and definitive care, playing a crucial role in the emergency medical services continuum.
