Job Description: Resident physicians are medical doctors in the midst of specialized postgraduate training. After earning their medical degrees, they enter residency programs that provide intensive training in specific medical specialties, ranging from family medicine to neurosurgery. This period of residency is characterized by supervised practice in a hospital or clinic setting, where residents gain hands-on experience treating patients under the guidance of attending physicians and other senior medical staff. The duration of residency varies by specialty, typically lasting between three and seven years.

Key Responsibilities: Patient Care Provide comprehensive care to patients under supervision, including diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions.
Medical Procedures Perform medical procedures and surgeries appropriate to their level of training and under the supervision of more experienced physicians.
Educational Activities Participate in a wide range of educational activities, including lectures, seminars, and hands-on workshops, to enhance their knowledge and skills in their chosen specialty.
Rounds and Conferences Take part in daily rounds and regular medical conferences to discuss patient cases, treatment plans, and progress with other healthcare professionals.
Research Engage in research activities, often as part of a team, to advance medical knowledge and improve patient care practices.
Documentation Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients under their care.
