Job Description: Finance Managers in the healthcare sector play a crucial role in managing the financial health of healthcare organizations. Financial Advisory: Provide financial advice and support to department heads and senior management, aiding in strategic decision-making and resource allocation.
Compliance and Audit: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards specific to the healthcare industry. Coordinate and support internal and external audit processes.
Investment Analysis: Evaluate investment opportunities and capital projects, assessing their financial viability and alignment with the organization’s strategic goals.
Stakeholder Management: Communicate financial performance and forecasts to stakeholders, including senior management, the board of directors, and external partners or investors.
Education Qualifications: Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) is highly preferred.
Experience: Significant experience in financial management, including planning, analysis, and reporting. Prior experience in the healthcare sector is advantageous, given its unique financial structures and regulatory environment.
Skills and Competencies: Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills; proficiency in financial software and Excel; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; in-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and healthcare financing mechanisms.
