Job Description: The Food Service Manager in a healthcare setting plays a critical role in ensuring the provision of high-quality, nutritious, and appealing meals to patients, staff, and visitors. This role involves overseeing the daily operations of food service departments, including meal preparation, menu planning, budget management, and compliance with health and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities: Menu Planning and Nutritional Support: Develop and implement menus that meet the nutritional standards and dietary requirements of patients, considering diverse health conditions and cultural preferences.

Patient and Customer Satisfaction: Monitor and address feedback from patients, visitors, and staff to continuously improve the quality of food service and customer satisfaction.
Collaboration with Healthcare Team: Work closely with healthcare professionals, including dietitians and clinical nutrition managers, to align food services with patient care plans and nutritional goals.
Innovation and Quality Improvement: Implement innovative food service practices and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient experience.
Education Qualifications: Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, dietetics, nutrition, business administration, or a related field.
Experience: Previous experience in food service management, preferably in a healthcare setting, with a proven track record of managing a diverse team and meeting operational goals.
Certifications: Certifications in food safety management, such as ServSafe, are often required or highly beneficial.
Skills: Strong leadership and organizational skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; knowledge of food service operations and nutritional requirements; budget management and analytical skills.
