1. Deliver regular updates to doctors, patients and their family members
2. Begin treatment and monitor doses
3. Respond to a medical emergency and alert the appropriate Doctors as needed
4. Care for patient needs throughout their recovery in the ICU unit
5. Complete all necessary paperwork before transferring a patient
6. Maintain patient records
7. Create and implement effective care plans
