Job Description: Physician Assistants (PAs) are highly trained healthcare professionals who work under the supervision of physicians to provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive healthcare services. They are authorized to make clinical decisions and provide a broad range of medical services, from conducting physical exams to diagnosing and treating illnesses. PAs practice in various settings, including hospitals, clinics, and private practices, across multiple specialties.

Key Responsibilities: Patient Care: Conduct physical examinations, assess and treat illnesses, order and interpret tests, and counsel on preventive health care.
Diagnostic Services: Assist in diagnosing medical conditions by taking patient histories, performing examinations, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
Therapeutic Services: Provide treatment for various conditions, including administering injections, suturing wounds, and managing infections.
Patient Education: Educate and advise patients on health conditions, treatment plans, and lifestyle adjustments to manage illness and promote wellness.
Collaboration: Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals as part of the medical team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
Administrative Duties: May include tasks such as updating patient medical records, prescribing medications, and referring patients to specialists.

Education Qualifications: Education: A Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
Certification: Must pass the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE) to obtain licensure.
Licensure: State licensure as a Physician Assistant is required to practice.
Continuing Education: PAs are required to complete continuing medical education (CME) hours and pass a recertification exam periodically.
