Job Description: The Lab Technician – Dental is responsible for creating, modifying, and repairing dental prosthetics, appliances, and restorations, including crowns, bridges, dentures, and orthodontic devices. This role supports dentists in providing accurate and high-quality restorations while adhering to Indian Dental Council standards and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities: Fabrication: Create dental prosthetics such as crowns, bridges, dentures, veneers, and orthodontic appliances based on dentist specifications.
Repairs and Adjustments: Repair or modify existing dental appliances to ensure proper fit and functionality.
Model Preparation: Prepare dental molds, casts, and impressions received from dentists for prosthetic creation.
Material Management: Select and handle appropriate materials, such as ceramics, metals, and acrylics, for prosthetic fabrication.
Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, such as milling machines, furnaces, and hand tools.
Quality Control: Inspect finished products for accuracy, durability, and aesthetic appeal before delivery to dentists.
Record-Keeping: Maintain detailed records of materials used, processes, and completed work.
Compliance: Adhere to NABH, ISO, and Dental Council of India standards for dental laboratories.
Collaboration: Work closely with dentists and other dental professionals to ensure prosthetics meet clinical and aesthetic requirements.
Innovation: Stay updated on new materials, techniques, and technologies in dental lab work to improve efficiency and outcomes.

Education Qualifications: Minimum Requirements: Diploma or certification in Dental Laboratory Technology from a recognized institution.
Preferred: Advanced certifications or training in specific areas such as ceramics, CAD/CAM systems, or implant prosthetics.
Experience: Prior experience in dental laboratory work is highly advantageous.
