Job Description: The Laboratory Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a clinical or research laboratory. This role involves managing laboratory staff, ensuring the quality and efficiency of laboratory tests, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and overseeing the laboratory budget and supplies.

Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage laboratory personnel, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff performance.
Ensure laboratory compliance with industry standards and regulations, including CLIA, CAP, and OSHA requirements.
Develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures to improve efficiency and quality of services.
Manage the laboratory budget, including procurement of supplies and equipment, and monitor expenditures to ensure financial objectives are met.
Oversee the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment to ensure accurate test results.
Implement quality control and assurance programs to meet regulatory standards and improve laboratory services.
Coordinate with other healthcare professionals and departments to ensure timely and accurate test results for patient care.
Stay updated on advancements in laboratory technology and implement new techniques and equipment as appropriate.
Address and resolve any issues related to laboratory operations, including patient complaints and staff concerns.

Education Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT), Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), or equivalent.
Proven experience in laboratory management or a supervisory role in a clinical laboratory setting.
In-depth knowledge of laboratory procedures, standards, and regulations.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
