The Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing the storage, transportation, and distribution of pharmaceutical products, raw materials, and supplies.
This role ensures that all logistics operations comply with regulatory standards, maintain product integrity, and support the organization’s efficiency and customer satisfaction goals.

Supply Chain Management: Plan, implement, and monitor logistics strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
Transportation Oversight: Manage transportation networks, ensuring compliance with temperature-controlled requirements for sensitive pharmaceutical products.
Inventory Coordination: Work closely with procurement and warehouse teams to maintain accurate stock levels and efficient inventory flow.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to pharmaceutical regulations such as GDP (Good Distribution Practices), CDSCO, and WHO guidelines.
Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with logistics service providers to ensure reliability and cost-effectiveness.
Route Optimization: Optimize transportation routes to minimize costs and delivery times.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain, including delays, damages, and regulatory issues.
Documentation: Oversee the preparation of shipping documents, customs clearance, and other regulatory paperwork.
Technology Utilization: Leverage logistics software and ERP systems to streamline operations and track shipments.
Performance Monitoring: Analyze logistics metrics to assess efficiency, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferred: Master’s degree in Logistics or Operations Management.
Certifications: Professional certifications such as CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) or CLTD (Certified in Logistics, Transportation, and Distribution) are advantageous.
Experience: Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management roles, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.

Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple logistics operations simultaneously.
Analytical Thinking: Expertise in interpreting logistics data and optimizing supply chain performance.
Communication: Strong interpersonal and written communication skills for engaging with vendors and internal teams.
Problem-Solving: Capacity to address logistics challenges and implement timely solutions.
Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with pharmaceutical logistics regulations and best practices.
Leadership: Ability to manage and motivate logistics teams effectively.
