Job Description
- The Maintenance Executive is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of maintenance operations within the organization.
- This includes the development and implementation of maintenance strategies, overseeing routine and emergency maintenance of facilities and equipment, managing maintenance staff, and ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance management, excellent leadership abilities, and the capability to drive continuous improvement in maintenance practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance Strategy Development: Design and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies to ensure efficient and reliable operation of all facilities and equipment.
- Team Management: Lead, manage, and develop the maintenance team, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation.
- Routine and Preventive Maintenance: Oversee routine and preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.
- Emergency Repairs: Coordinate and manage emergency repair work, ensuring quick response times to minimize operational disruptions.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with relevant regulations and safety standards to maintain a safe working environment.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the maintenance budget, including cost control measures and procurement of supplies and services.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, inspections, and expenditures for reporting and decision-making purposes.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement in maintenance processes and implement changes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong understanding of maintenance procedures and best practices.
- Proficiency in maintenance management software and systems.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations, including health and safety standards.
