Nursing staff, encompassing registered nurses (RNs), licensed practical nurses (LPNs), and nurse aides, play a pivotal role in healthcare settings.
They are responsible for providing direct patient care, supporting patient recovery, and ensuring the effective implementation of treatment plans.
Nurses work in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, and community health organizations.

Conduct patient assessments to determine patient care requirements and plan nursing care.
Administer medications, treatments, and provide wound care as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in patient conditions.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Educate patients and their families on health management, medication, and post-discharge care.
Maintain accurate patient records and document care services provided.
Ensure infection control practices and adherence to healthcare protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families.

Degree in nursing (Associate's, Bachelor's for RNs; diploma or certificate for LPNs).
Valid nursing license as required by the state or country of practice.
Clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
Strong understanding of healthcare practices, standards, and ethics.
CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required.

Compassion and empathy towards patients and their families.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations and adapt to changing environments.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
