Job Description: Patient Services Representatives play a crucial role in healthcare facilities, acting as the first point of contact for patients and visitors. They are responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing patient appointments and records, and ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience from arrival to departure. Key Responsibilities: Patient Reception and Support: Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner, provide information and direction, and assist with any initial inquiries or needs.
Appointment Scheduling: Schedule patient appointments, manage cancellations or rescheduling requests, and coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure a smooth appointment process.
Patient Information Management: Accurately collect, update, and maintain patient information and medical records in the healthcare facility’s database, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Billing and Insurance Coordination: Assist patients with billing inquiries, process payments, and coordinate with insurance providers to verify coverage and benefits information.
Communication: Serve as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers, facilitating communication and ensuring patients are informed about their care plans and appointments.
Patient Feedback: Collect feedback from patients regarding their experience with the facility and services, and report any concerns or suggestions to management to improve service quality.
Administrative Support: Perform various administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and preparing correspondence related to patient care and services.

Education Qualifications: Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional certification or training in healthcare administration or related field is preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare setting. Experience with medical scheduling software and electronic health records (EHR) systems is beneficial.
