Job Description: The Pharmacy Director is a leadership role within the healthcare ecosystem, responsible for overseeing the operations of the pharmacy department within a hospital, clinic, or healthcare facility. Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee: Lead or participate in the Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee to evaluate and manage medication use policies, and to select formulary medications.
Clinical Services: Oversee or coordinate clinical pharmacy services, including medication therapy management, patient counseling, and health screenings.
Quality Improvement: Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance pharmacy services and patient care outcomes.
Education and Training: Provide education and training to pharmacy staff, healthcare professionals, and students on medication-related topics.

Education Qualifications: Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience: Several years of experience in clinical pharmacy practice, with progressive management responsibilities.
Licensure: Current and unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of practice.
Certifications: Board certification in a pharmacy specialty (e.g., BCPS, BCACP) is preferred.
Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; deep knowledge of pharmacology and medication management; proficiency in healthcare regulations and safety standards.
