Job Description: The Product Manager is responsible for the planning, development, and marketing of pharmaceutical products throughout their lifecycle. This role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, conducting market analysis, and implementing strategies to maximize product profitability and market share while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities: Product Strategy: Develop and execute product strategies that align with business objectives and market needs.
Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify customer needs, competitive dynamics, and opportunities for product growth.
Product Launch: Plan and manage the successful launch of new products, including go-to-market strategies, pricing, and promotional plans.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, manufacturing, sales, and regulatory teams to ensure smooth product development and commercialization.
Performance Monitoring: Track product performance using key metrics and recommend improvements.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all product-related activities comply with pharmaceutical regulations and company policies.
Customer Engagement: Work with the sales team to gather customer feedback and ensure customer satisfaction.
Training: Provide training and support to sales teams on product knowledge, positioning, and messaging.
Lifecycle Management: Oversee the product lifecycle, making recommendations for improvement, extension, or discontinuation as needed.
Budget Management: Manage product-related budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
Education Qualifications: Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Marketing, or a related field.
Preferred: MBA or advanced degree in Marketing or Product Management.
Experience: Proven experience in product management, marketing, or related roles in the pharmaceutical industry.
