Job Description: As the Purchase Head for our Retail Pharmacy, you will oversee all procurement activities to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of pharmaceutical products and supplies.
Key Responsibilities: Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business goals to optimize costs and ensure product availability.
Vendor Management: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and contracts.
Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels and manage stock to minimize shortages and excess inventory.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all purchased products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Budget Management: Prepare and manage procurement budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost efficiency.
Team Leadership: Supervise and train procurement staff, ensuring they adhere to procurement policies and procedures.
Education Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
X years of experience in procurement or purchasing management, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain vendor relationships.
Knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, and regulatory compliance.
