Job Description: The Research and Education Coordinator in a healthcare setting is responsible for overseeing and facilitating research projects, educational programs, and professional development initiatives for healthcare staff. This role involves coordinating research activities, managing educational resources, and ensuring that training programs meet the needs of the staff and comply with accreditation standards.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and support clinical research projects, including protocol development, regulatory compliance, and data management.
Organize educational and training programs for healthcare professionals, including workshops, seminars, and continuing education courses.
Collaborate with healthcare providers, academic institutions, and professional organizations to identify educational needs and opportunities.
Manage the logistics of training sessions and educational events, including scheduling, materials preparation, and technology support.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and research initiatives, making adjustments as needed to improve outcomes.
Ensure compliance with institutional policies and accreditation standards related to professional development and research.
Facilitate communication and dissemination of research findings and educational resources through various channels, including publications, presentations, and digital platforms.
Assist in the development of grant applications and the management of research funding.
Education Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related healthcare, education, or research field; advanced degree (e.g., Master’s or PhD) preferred.
Experience in clinical research, healthcare education, or academic administration.
Knowledge of research methodologies, educational theory and practice, and regulatory compliance in healthcare research and training.
Proficiency in data management and analysis tools, educational technology platforms, and common office software.
