Senior Purchase Executive – Retail Pharmacy

Job Description: As the Senior Purchase Executive for our Retail Pharmacy, you will lead and oversee the procurement function, ensuring the timely acquisition of pharmaceutical products and supplies to meet operational requirements and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities: Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives to optimize costs and ensure product availability.
Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor vendor performance to ensure quality and reliability.
Order Processing: Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to delivery, ensuring accuracy and compliance with pharmacy standards.
Inventory Optimization: Monitor inventory levels, track usage patterns, and implement strategies to minimize stockouts and reduce excess inventory.
Quality Control: Ensure all purchased products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements through rigorous inspection and adherence to procurement protocols.
Budget Management: Prepare and manage procurement budgets, monitor expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality.
Education Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; additional certifications or MBA preferred.
X+ years of experience in procurement, with significant exposure in pharmaceutical or healthcare sectors.
Proven track record in procurement leadership, vendor management, and strategic sourcing.
Strong negotiation skills, analytical abilities, and proficiency in procurement software and MS Office suite.
