Job Description: The Store Head is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a healthcare facility’s store. This role involves managing inventory, ensuring the availability of medical supplies and equipment, and coordinating with various departments to meet their needs. The Store Head ensures that the store operates efficiently, maintains high standards of quality, and complies with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of medical supplies and equipment. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure optimal stock levels.
Procurement: Coordinate with suppliers to procure medical supplies and equipment. Negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of goods.
Quality Control: Ensure that all supplies and equipment meet the required quality standards and are properly maintained.
Budget Management: Prepare and manage the store’s budget. Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures.
Team Leadership: Supervise store staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Compliance: Ensure that all store operations comply with relevant regulations and standards. Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on inventory levels, procurement activities, and budget status to senior management.
Customer Service: Address and resolve any issues or concerns from internal departments regarding store operations.
Education Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in store management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Certifications: Certification in Supply Chain Management or a related field is advantageous.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
