Data Analysis: Use statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data mining techniques to analyze healthcare data, identifying trends and patterns that indicate opportunities for improvement.
Reporting and Visualization: Develop and disseminate clear, concise, and actionable reports and dashboards that visualize complex data in an understandable manner for various stakeholders.
Quality Improvement Support: Work closely with quality improvement teams to provide data-driven insights and recommendations for quality enhancement projects.
Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in data collection and analysis processes and recommend improvements to enhance data quality and operational efficiency.
Compliance and Standards: Ensure data management and analysis practices comply with relevant healthcare data privacy, security standards, and regulations.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with clinical staff, administrators, and IT professionals to ensure data needs are met and to foster a culture of data-driven decision-making.
Education and Training: Provide training and support to staff on utilizing data effectively for quality improvement efforts and decision-making processes.

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, healthcare informatics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred for some positions.
Experience: Proven experience in data analysis or a related field, preferably within the healthcare sector, with a strong understanding of healthcare operations and quality improvement processes.
Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in data analysis software and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R), strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience with healthcare databases and Electronic Health Records (EHRs), and excellent communication skills.

Analytical Thinker: Ability to dissect complex data sets to find actionable insights that drive quality improvement.
