The Report Executive is responsible for compiling, reviewing, and delivering accurate diagnostic reports in a timely manner within healthcare and pathology laboratories.
This role ensures proper documentation, adherence to quality standards, and efficient communication of results to clinicians, patients, and other stakeholders.

Report Compilation: Gather and consolidate test results from various laboratory departments into comprehensive diagnostic reports.
Data Accuracy: Review and verify accuracy of test results and patient information in reports.
Compliance: Ensure reports comply with NABL, CAP, ISO, and other relevant standards and guidelines.
Documentation: Maintain organized and accurate records of issued reports in laboratory management systems.
Report Delivery: Coordinate timely delivery of reports to clinicians, patients, and healthcare providers.
Issue Resolution: Address discrepancies or errors in test results or report details in collaboration with laboratory staff.
Communication: Liaise with clinicians and laboratory departments for clarifications and updates regarding reports.
Confidentiality: Ensure patient confidentiality and secure handling of sensitive data in compliance with privacy regulations.
Quality Checks: Conduct routine quality checks on reports to ensure consistency and adherence to lab protocols.
Customer Service: Assist patients and clients with queries related to test reports and procedures.

Minimum Requirements: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT/BMLT), Healthcare Administration, or related fields.
Preferred: Training or certifications in medical transcription or healthcare reporting.
Experience: Prior experience in report generation or administrative roles in a pathology or clinical setting is advantageous.

Attention to Detail: High precision in compiling and verifying reports.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clinicians and patients.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple reports and deadlines efficiently.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with laboratory information systems and reporting tools.
Confidentiality: Commitment to maintaining the privacy and security of patient information.
Problem-Solving: Capacity to address discrepancies and provide accurate solutions promptly.
