Job Description

1. Monitoring medication administration to ensure that patients are taking their medications correctly
2. Reporting any hazards or concerns to the nurse manager or other appropriate staff member
3. Participating in research projects to study new drug therapies or treatments for chronic illnesses
4. Reviewing medical records to identify any errors or problems with treatment plans or protocols
5. Preparing reports on patient outcomes that are used to improve patient care and nursing practices
6. Working with clinical staff to develop, implement, monitor, and update quality improvement initiatives
7. Developing and implementing a system for monitoring the quality of care delivered by nurses and other staff members
