Job Description: The Senior Dietitian plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing nutritional care for senior patients or residents. They are responsible for assessing dietary needs, developing personalized nutrition plans, and ensuring compliance with dietary restrictions and health goals. This role involves collaboration with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes through nutrition.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments of senior individuals.
Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans.
Monitor and evaluate nutritional status and dietary intake.
Provide nutrition education and counseling to seniors and their families.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate care and address nutritional concerns.
Stay updated with current research and guidelines in senior nutrition.
Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to care planning.

Education Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition or Dietetics.
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification.
State licensure or registration where applicable.
Proven experience in clinical nutrition, preferably in geriatrics or senior care.
Strong knowledge of nutrition science, dietary guidelines, and medical nutrition therapy.
